Fish was rotten. This cost me 16$ went and showed her the pictures and she shifted the blame on me and whom she bought the fish from. This cost me 16$ and a few cents. I could not tell from frozen packaging fish was bad. I got it on 9/6/25 and defrosted overnight and in the morning it looked like that after cleaning. I even cut it and took a picture. It smelled old and stale. All I wanted was accountability and offer me a discount at least on a different fish or item. She had to hurry and go because she is busy inside. Others have been buying the same fish with no problem or she has not heard complaints. It is a small business. Goodbye and I am not stepping my foot there. I will be going to Minneapolis or get stuff online. Knowing her and shopping there for years I was not too surprised by

I come to this location because it is close to my house. There has been multiple occasions where the grocery items I bought was not fresh or poor quality. It is a gamble if the owner is going to be pleasant or if she’s going to be rude or not making you a priority to be rang up, she will be talking on the phone or something. I don’t think after this last time I went I will be returning. She was checking me out and accidentally rang up 2 of the same items twice, I let her know and she deleted one too many items and got upset that I confused her for letting her know she was charging me double. Then you also have to watch her for overcharging you for items that clearly show a different price. I purchased ground Ogbono and when I began to cook it reeked of soap, if you cook this soup you know

Wasted my gas going here because it said it was open only for it not to be. I called and someone picked up and then hung up in the middle of me asking a question. I honestly just wanted some suya seasoning.

Please do yourself a favor and go spend your hard earned money elsewhere! This woman is so RUDE! I went into her store today and spent almost $45 (on only 3 overpriced items). As I was checking out, the credit card machine would not print my receipt, so I tapped it a couple times and it accidentally printed a few copies. She then went on to loudly accuse me of “wasting her receipt paper” and stated, “why did you do that?!” When I pointed out that it was an accident and that yelling at your customers who are bringing you business is pretty poor customer service, she proceeded to tell me to leave her store and never come back, shouting, “I don’t want business from you people!” (Assuming she is referring to African Americans). Mind you, my 11 year old daughter was also present in the store wi

Her service wasn't hospitable she had an attitude and assumed I had one with her when I was ready to go back home then proceeded to say that I didn't confront my daughter in front of her face which was none of her business because it's my daughter, not hers. I was making sure she was ringing my stuff up correctly because on the screen it said brown rice and not palm oil she had an attitude because I asked about that but I was clarifying because I was confused and she got her panties in a bunch over that like I care it wasn't that deep ever. Lastly, she said I can't come back here like I care there are other African stores I don't need to go to hers at all because she had a chip on her shoulder about something and wasn't woman enough to speak up and her prices are expensive I wouldn't come
