Jose's Authentic Mexican

Super nice staff, loved the crisp and shape of the tortillas on the taco platter. I had barbacoa which was tender, chicken and pork. Four stars as I wish the tacos were a bit bigger and rice and beans were bland but otherwise it was good and I’d go back to try more.

We had a great experience today. They were extremely friendly and happily accommodated my vegetarian requests with no question. We had the taco platters and chips with pico & guacamole. The food was made with fresh ingredients and made upon request. Both the pico & guacamole were some of the best we’ve had. 10/10 would recommend

Jose, the owner, greeted us as soon as we walked in. Very kind and happy guy. We placed the order at the counter, and then they brought the food out. When you are done eating is when you pay. I ordered the 3 taco chicken meals that come with beans and rice. It wasn't too bad, but the chicken tasted microwaved, and the portions were small. It would have been perfect for lunch but not so much for dinner. We also ordered the salsa and chips in bother versions. The chips were terrific, but the sauce was almost a little slimy tasting. We didn't eat it, honestly My wife ordered the Mexican pizza with beef, and she liked it. My daughter ordered the same thing I did except Barbacola tacos. Terrific people but food not so much.

Always Tasty, and Super Delicious. My wife and I have been going here for 10 years, and it has always been a favorite. 😀 If you are in Petoskey, stop in and try it for yourself. We now live almost 2 hrs away, and it's worth the drive.

Authentic Mexican food at a family owned and operated restaurant. The tacos were delicious and the meal size was perfect for lunch (may be a little small for dinner). Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
