I had a fantastic experience at Jongro BBQ Market in Midtown Manhattan, and it completely lived up to the hype. It was my first time doing AYCE Korean BBQ here, and everything from the food to the service made it a memorable outing. For anyone unfamiliar, AYCE means “all you can eat,” and it’s definitely worth it if you come hungry. One of the best parts of the experience is the grill right at the table, which makes the meal interactive and fun. The servers were incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to explain how everything works and offering helpful suggestions on what to order and how to cook the meats properly. That made a big difference and helped us enjoy the meal without feeling overwhelmed. We ended up ordering a lot — initially thinking we had ordered just a few items, bu
Jongro BBQ was so special! They opened near Bryant Park in midtown and it was very convenient because we could walk to the park after food. Every food was so delicious and the server was very nice. It was so fresh and AYCE was definitely worth of every penny! I’d come back for the food and side dishes were amazing.
Really solid Korean BBQ AYCE spot. The meat was fresh and tasty, and they kept bringing things out quickly without much waiting. I especially liked the pork belly and marinated beef. There were lots of side dishes (banchan), and they were refilled often, which made the meal feel really generous. They also changed the grill regularly, which I really appreciated. Staff were friendly and checked on us just enough without being pushy. Overall, good value for the price and a place I’d come back to when I’m craving Korean BBQ. 👍
Jongro KBBQ AYCE in Midtown absolutely delivers. The meats were amazing — savory, well-marinated, and consistently high quality throughout the meal. For sides, don’t skip the cheese corn and kimchi scallion pancake — both were standout favorites, and the fact that they’re included with AYCE makes it even better. Service really elevated the experience. Sara was an amazing (and very cute 😉) server — super courteous, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. Great food, great value, and great service. Easily one of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Midtown — I’ll definitely be back.
Jongen is a fantastic Korean bbq experience. The staff is friendly, the setting is traditional and they have delicious ingredients for their dishes. There is a lovely atmosphere and we had a memorable dinner. The Kimchi is to die for.
