Johnson County Public Library

Mixed feelings about this review. Older Male staff member with glasses oddly aggressive; I watched him make multiple mistakes on printing and he over-charged customers for his own faults and strongly refused criticism, actually arguing with customers and taking advantage of those not paying attention. He then later went on a rant with his co-workers calling a *donated* book on the history of firearms in the Wild West "disgusting" and denigrating "people who think this is okay". Spoke multiple times about his "abilities" to curate what he thought was "appropriate to be in the library" that was centered around his personal ideology. This made me extremely uncomfortable when I was waiting on help from another librarian, and when I asked him about the book saying it might be interesting to man

It's not a large library by no means but they do have a decent selection of books for all different age ranges. They allow the public to use the inside computers and I believe you can print what you need for 10cent a page. The staff is super nice and helpful even though I only see one woman working anytime my kids and I go there, but she is always smiling and ready to help. The library is also very clean,organized and the books as well as any public/county info is updated and placed where it's clearly seen.

Mountain City, TN Public Library is a gem. Staff are always very helpful knowledgeable in the community environment. Never disappointed in the services provided.

Friendly employees. Many useful services that are inexpensive. Check out books, movies, use of internet, fax, copy and print. Also used as a venue for art exhibitions and other events.

The librarians are friendly. However, opening the hours they are, makes allowing children to have access to the library impossible.
