Johnny B Good's Diner

We stopped in for lunch while out and about exploring the shops in Steamboat. The staff were absolutely fantastic. They all seemed genuinely happy to be there and went above and beyond taking care of us. The food came out quick and everything we had was delicious. The decor was welcoming and interesting to look at while we sat and waited for our food. If we return to Steamboat, we will return to Johnny B's!

Great menu, good prices, excellent pie and ice cream (esp huckleberry ice cream and apple pie), friendly staff, wonderfully eclectic decorations.

Good local place. It has awesome 50, 60 and 70s decorations. Friendly staff. Food was good and homemade. Definitely recommend this place.

The staff were really friendly and the entree was good! The slight disappointment was the dessert... If you want the pie heated, they seem to just microwave it which makes the crust mushy instead of flaky. So, don't get it heated!

I used to come to Johnny B’s in the early 2000s when I attended Colorado Mountain College and had one of those grilled cheese sandwiches that are just perfect. I came back to Steamboat today (Feb 2024) and was SO ecstatic that everything is just how I remembered it. The food is still just as delicious and is so reasonably priced. I got the grilled cheese with a cup of chicken corn chowder and a mimosa. My friend got the adult root beer float and a Reuben and we got her daughter the children’s Mac n cheese. The total came to $51.00. Our waiter Rob was extremely kind and very on top of everything. He was very attentive to the kids and Madeira experience awesome. Definitely recommend this restaurant anytime you are in Steamboat.
