Mountain Artisan Sourdough

Followed Maui for awhile on social media but it wasn't until I went through some health issues that I really wanted to change certain things I was eating. I've always liked sourdough but didnt know all the health benefits until recently. I Had the pleasure of stopping by today for the first time with my husband and we were met with the kindest guy who answered questions, let us taste test, and even sent me home with one of his prized cast irons to expirement myself and try making sourdough at home! We will definitely be back again and hope to get massages from his wife in the future haha

I look forward to eating at this gem every time. Every single item on the menu is quality, from the melts down to the sauce. The owners are personable and accommodating. You get a loyalty punch card good for a free sandwich after you buy however many. The name of the shop is exactly what you are getting. Some of the best bread I've ever had that actually tastes like it's good for you when you take a bite. God bless this place, peace ✌️

I’ve never had sourdough like this. Every flavor (even the regular) is to die for. I get mad at my partner when he eats the last of the loaf. DONT miss this bread!!!!

The bread bowl tomato soup is seriously incredible. It was my first time trying it and for how simple it is, it blew my mind! I also chase the sandwiches because they are my favorite in Steamboat, not usually a BBQ chicken guy but it’s my go-to Sammy because it’s a 10/10 and not your average bbq chicken. Love this team, their bread skills and quality ingredients!

Fantastic people and bread. They care about the quality and True sourdough. Which means only wild yeast and 24-48h fermentation. Usually people with gluten sensitivity will do fine with these type of bread. Blessed to have a baker of true sourdough in steamboat springs!
