We stopped in for a drink at the bar. Started with a beer and a margarita, which was awesome! Olga was our bar lady and she was so pleasant & friendly. We ended up staying for a few hours. Had some wonderful food while we were there. We started with clam chowder,which was out of this world!! Then we had happy hour crab cakes & the kitchen sink flat bread make by the VERY talented James. It was really fun watching him do his pizza magic! Then .before we left we got another pizza to go. That's right it was that good! So if you've never sat at the bar with Olga and watched James do his thang, it's definitely a must. Thanks again for a wonderful happy hour hang. This is a lovely restaurant with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The food is delicious. I’ve been here twice already, and I hope to come back again

I've eaten at other location, but this was first visit to the Original. Stopped in for lunch and wasn't disappointed. Chopped blackened shrimp salad was bright, crisp and full of flavor. So good. I really love that the salads on the menu were unique - not average! Service was great. Beer was cold, even the iced tea was notably good.

This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. The place was very busy as it was a Friday night, but we were able to get seated in their outdoor section. The flower boxes were well maintained, and the color scheme was bright and cheery. The waitress came over pretty quickly to greet us (she was very sweet and personable) and took our order. A few minutes later, she reappeared with our drinks, an espresso martini, and a cappuccino. She asked if there was anything else she could get us while waiting for our food , and we didn't need anything. We were able to chat and enjoy the warm weather while we waited for our food to come out. The waitress brought our food over, which was a barbecue pizza that was very delicious. First time trying Joe's Original Kitchen and Bar. We sat at the bar and had Shelby our waitress. We had the chicken picatta and battered haddock. Apps were Brussel Sprouts and Parmesan Truffle fries. Shelby was attentive and gave great alternative options for substitutions. She was very attentive. As a regular restaurant-goer I appreciate when someone has a a strong work ethic. She definitely MADE the dinner.
