Lady behind counter was rude and not a very nice person. Ordered a Sicilian pizza and paid $29. The pizza was subpar at best. Dough was bland and like rubber. The sauce was most definitely from a can ragu would have been better, the cheese was fake and nasty it tasted like cardboard. Overall the pizza horrible and the service lacking. Me and my family have order multiple times hopeing it would get better. It has not, unfortunately their are not many good pizza options in Hawley please avoid this place and save your money it was a truly bad bad pizza. Frozen is so much better and that's not saying much.

8/2025. I don't give many crappy reviews but unfortunately the food here was less than stellar and did not match the price point. The meatballs were pretty good but the rest.... not so much. The cheese steak stromboli was a lot of cheese and not much steak. The calamari was extremely chewy. The gnocchi was sub par and the Italian sandwich was made with ham so think you could use the slices for roof shingles. Now I know some people like their ham cut thick but for me, no good. If you're like me and you like deli meats sliced super thin and piled high, this is not the sandwich to get. The tomato slices were also incredibly thick. This restaurant needs to step up its game a bit unless we caught it on an off day. My guess is it stays in business just due to sheer volume of people in the area

The pizza is almost as good as in NYC. The Garlic Knots are a must have, best I've ever had. I purposely drive out of my way to stop there to get them.

Unacceptable Service – A Full 50-Minute Wait for a Half-Cooked Pizza! I am beyond furious with the service I received today. I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes—reasonable, right? Well, 25 minutes passed, and I waited. Then 30 minutes… 40 minutes… and I still hadn’t gotten my pizza! After a FULL 40 minutes of waiting, they finally handed me my order, but it gets worse. I was asked to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes while they “finished” preparing it. That’s right—FIFTY MINUTES in total for a pizza that was *not* even properly cooked! The crust was soggy, the toppings were raw, and the entire thing was an absolute disaster. We love local places. Here, the atmosphere is so nice. The staff and the public were full of humor and spirits were high. The prices were reasonable and the portions were amazing. This is a great place to visit. Just be ready to eat. Go on an empty stomach. And enjoy.
