Neighborhood coffee spot with a good, daily-changing selection of pastries, and good latte drinks. They make a decent oat chai and a variety of latte drinks. Joe is a good roaster and a good brewer, so you really can’t go wrong with one of their drinks.
You know, I'm curious about new flavors. I tried this latte with oat at the branch in UWS. Fig and balsamic! Frankly, it was delicious. But the employees were acting a little sloppy. He put the cup very hard, there was no latte art anyway. Overall, the coffee was nice, the staff could be more polite.
UPDATE: knocking off a star because the restroom is now for employees only. Please open this back up to the public. This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops on the upper west side! Their coffee is delicious. The coffee alone earns it a 5 star from me. Seating is limited, but if you go early or get lucky you can snag a seat. There is a bathroom, it’s just tucked away behind the counter on the left. ❤️ If you need cinnamon and sugar, head to the station to the left of the counter.
There's something truly delightful about pairing a latte coffee with a vanilla scone and a matcha tea. The creamy richness of the latte perfectly complements the sweet, buttery goodness of the vanilla scone. Each sip and bite is a symphony of flavors, creating a harmonious blend of comfort and indulgence. And let's not forget about the matcha tea – its earthy, slightly sweet taste adds a refreshing contrast to the richness of the coffee and scone. Whether enjoyed as a morning treat or an afternoon pick-me-up, this trio is sure to brighten your day and leave you feeling utterly satisfied.
The cappuccino we had there was quite good, but the iced coffee was average. Mostly, however, the seating is a bit cramped and there’s quite a bit of breeze because the seats are all not far from the door. Their selection was food and snacks is not very large either.
