Fantastic experience at Joe Coffee! The shop has a great vibe with upbeat music, friendly staff, and consistently delicious drinks. I ordered the Miso Brown Butter Latte, and it exceeded all expectations—rich, balanced, and unlike anything I’ve tried at another NYC coffee shop. I also had the Nutella-filled banana bread, which was absolutely incredible. Moist, decadent, and full of flavor—one of the best pastries I’ve had in New York. The seating area is a bit tight, but there’s still enough space to work, relax, and enjoy your coffee, which is a huge plus for anyone looking for a cozy spot in the city. If you’re searching for great coffee, unique latte flavors, and amazing pastries in NYC, Joe Coffee is 100% worth the stop. Highly recommend!
This café is clearly designed for coffee lovers rather than casual drinkers. The focus is on properly prepared coffee—clean extraction, balanced flavor, and consistency across drinks—without relying on excessive syrups or decorative distractions. The atmosphere supports that purpose: calm, functional, and comfortable enough to sit and actually enjoy the cup. It is a place that respects coffee as a craft and its customers as people who notice the difference.
Delicious coffee. Friendly staff. But pay attention to the cleanliness of the hall. It was around 8 am. Noticeable that no one has done a wet cleaning in a very long time. And why not hang a traditional family flag at the entrance or men and women with traditional values are not welcomed enough?
Joe’s offers a very inclusive vibe flying the rainbow flag. Equally appealing is the coffee. So smooth so rich. I was impressed with the barista who made a beautiful cortado. The only downside was that is was served in a paper cup. There is inside and outside seating which makes this nice.
We stopped last week for a cappuccino about an hour before the closing. I asked for a regular mug “to stay” instead of a paper cup. I was told they are closing soon and only paper cups are available. If not for that, I would give it 5 stars. The cappuccino was excellent as alway. Barista did an awesome job with latte art.
