Got the shrimp tempura, coconut shrimp and fried flounder sandwich. 10 out of 10. Tempura batter was delicious. Coconut shrimp was very good. Flounder sandwich was delicious fish tasted perfect and didn't skimp on portions at all. Would definitely eat here again. Atphomshere and staff extremely friendly.

Jody & Jodee Fishery (223 NJ-35, Neptune City, NJ) is primarily a family run traditional seafood market with a good kitchen attached to it. Rare these days to find a true seafood market with a decent kitchen. For sure everything is fresh. You get Oysters and Clams on the half shell. Fried clam strips as well whole belly clams (fried). All kinds of fried seafood and seafood sandwiches (including soft shell crab sandwiches and lobster rolls). All kinds of steamers, soups and salads. I got one of their most popular fried fish sandwiches on a roll, plus shrimp eggrolls. Definitely will go back.

I grew up eating food from this business and more than 20 years later, my children demand Jody and Jodee’s if we enter NJ. We love this food.

My go-to spot whenever I’m down at the shore. Whether you’re picking up something fresh from the market or ordering a meal from the kitchen, they never miss. Laid-back vibe, friendly staff and consistently great eats 10/10!

I’ve driven past this place for 20 years and never stopped in. Tonight I decided I really wanted to try the chowder. I asked them to make me a pint of “Rhode island” which is half manhattan half New England and it is sooooooo good!!! I’m so glad I stopped in! I will be back once a week at least! Seriously the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Ordered some fried oysters too which were so good!
