J&J BBQ & Burgers

I have been to this little hole in the wall for a few yrs now & have never left a review… It sits on the Lohman ford rd & 1431 right @ the heart of Lago Vista, when in this area I have to stop for a bite, now everything on the menu looks delicious but my absolute favorite is the migas taco. I’m on the road a lot for work & by far this place nails it. The food is made to order the & hot. But the must try is the migas taco. A tortilla filled with crunchy tortilla chips mixed with eggs,jalapeños,onions,tomatoes & topped with cheese man it’s so good… You will not be disappointed & don’t forget the habanero sauce & leave her a tip… heads up you only need one I always take the challenge & order two just to not finish

Pretty terrible place and bbq sucks the chicken is half decent but that’s it and don’t even get me started on these fries thingys terrible. Just go somewhere else

Do not order thru door dash. Home fries came raw, or severely under cooked. No way to resolve unless you come in next time or try to stop by. I understand cold food, but this was not that

Great spot for BBQ and other types of food as well. I stop in almost every weekend or every other weekend to get myself a big Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast Meal and they never Disappoint. There's a large selection to choose from and the staff is Exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

I got an order of pinto beans today. That’s all. But I’m telling you, those were the best pinto beans I have ever had in my 61 years on this earth. I don’t ever have to have anything else from that restaurant, even though everything else is good. The pinto beans were unforgettable. I called them and tried to finagle the recipe, because although I have made pinto beans, 1 million times, they’ve never been this good. I’m thinking it may have something to do with the smoked turkey and sausage, and the vegetables of course. But if you don’t get anything else, get the pinto beans.
