JINYA Ramen Bar - Lehi

I visited this ramen spot for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience overall. There was plenty of parking, which made it super convenient. We ordered the Tonkotsu Black, Tan Tan Men, and a kids meal. The Tonkotsu Black was the star of the meal for me – the pork and noodles went really well together. It was a bit on the oily side, but still very flavorful. I wanted something spicy, so I tried the Tan Tan ramen. It was decent, but if you’re like me and enjoy a kick, I’d actually recommend going with the Tonkotsu and adding some of the chili available on the table – I think you’d like that better! The atmosphere is definitely my favorite part of this restaurant. For cost? Outrageously high but when you’re so nauseous all you can eat is soup- you better believe I’ll pay up. The quarters are very close, The bar only seats about 5 people. We shared a table with another small group which doesn’t bother us but the family we were next to did not like that at all. Might be the best ramen spot I’ve had in Utah thus far! This location was nice and spacious and the interior was nicely decorated with a modern feel to it. It’s spacious with plenty of seating as well as a bar. I was quite surprised by the variety in their menu. They have a whole vegan section in the menu which you don’t really see too often. I ordered the jinya tonkotsu black which on first impression was good. Maybe bc ive eaten a lot of black tonkotsu ramens, I felt like jinya’s was lacking a bit of that char black garlic oil flavor. I did like that there was a lot of ingredients in the bowl and most importantly it was a full marinated egg. I did the Lunch Deal with JINYA Tonkotsu Black and Crispy Chicken, and ordered Nikuman. The Tonkotsu Black was delicious, and I would order it again. I know the seasoned egg is a marketing tool here, but to be honest, I didn't get the hype. But again, the ramen was really good. The Crispy Chicken was better than the Nikuman, so I'd recommend that route if you do the lunch special. The service was excellent. Our waitress was helpful and provided great recommendations. It's an intimate dining room, but I enjoyed the vibe of the place. The main reservation I had on the food is that it's premium pricing, but it doesn't deliver the equivalent satisfaction. Asa Ramen in Orem provides the same quality of food for almost half the price. I think you're really paying for the name and table service
