Jimmy's Ice Cream

Nice local ice cream shop. Perfect stop on a hot summers day. Plenty of hard ice cream choices, water ice (Italian ice) as well as soft serve with the ability to make shakes, sundaes, and artic swirls (soft serve with a blended in topping like Oreos, Snickers, or Reese's cups). There are generous servings especially with the artic swirls and shakes. Just note that this ice cream place is cash only, no credit cards accepted! However, the Mountain home diner right next door is a great place to grab a meal and they take card.

Both times I've been here, there were kids running the place who don't seem to know what there doing. Their prices are way too high & I was over charged the first time. When I brought it to their attention the second time I was there, instead of just making good on it I was having conversations with two kids that lasted 15 minutes while a line built up behind me. Such a shame because there aren't a lot of ice cream places in this area. I definitely would recommend Mary Anns Dairy Bar on Paradise Trail a million times over this place!

Love this spot... nice variety, young man at the register is also the server and is as accomodating as can be... soft serve, hard ice cream, cones, sundaes, banana split ,shakes... you name it

Excellent soft serve ice cream! I highly recommend getting a sundae or cup! Just keep in mind they are CASH ONLY!

Not like the website described. Only had 6 ice cream flavors the soft serve machine was broken and they are out of most toppings. Not worth the 20 min drive from Otter Lake.
