Barrett Paradise Friendly Library

What a lovely location. Clean and spacious! They also returned books for us, from the Eastern Monroe branch. Wide kids section and nice play area with a selection of kid friendly toys.

The nicest people ever, always there to help. It’s a clean well respected library. I have one closer but it’s nothing like the best library in the Poconos!!! Barrett. Thank you everyone for all your help ♥️♥️. Francine

A friendly library staff. Able to print up documents, view subjects on their clean and new computers, or sit and read publications or books.

I had a wonderful opportunity to work with the library director Mary Ann and some of her co-workers to assist me with Microsoft teams and allowing me to use a private room and get me prepared for an extremely important interview and Marianne and her crew went above and beyond to assist me and I really appreciate their kindness and friendliness and this is why I love this library so much.

For a “friendly” library, whoever answered the phone when I called on May 2nd around 4:30pm wasn’t that friendly. She sounded miserable and like she just wanted to leave. I wanted to just print a document and I said I would be there a little before 5 due to my work schedule. She said she wouldn’t let me in if I showed up after 4:45pm even though it would’ve only taken me a minute to print the paper.
