Jimmy John's

So….in 2019 was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. lost 52 pounds in less than 2 months. The cancer center cut it all out saving life. But that was 1/2 the battle. Cancer had destroyed the digestive system, couldn't eat food without getting extremely sick. 3 years after surgery, was still struggling with eating, wife suggested a radical idea. Jimmy John's. It sounds crazy, but was able to hold it down…full recovery had finally started. Jimmy John's helped with recovery. The sandwiches are always perfect. Sandwiches are normally pretty good. I tried to wrap this time really bland and nasty. No flavor was supposed to be kicking ranch no spice tasted like water. Not sure what happened.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner before heading to Mt Rushmore. We had wonderful sandwiches and service. The place was clean and friendly. We were very pleased with this JJ location. One of the best ones we have seen.

In supporting an Elder's lunch, we searched for a shop that could produce 120 sandwiches, fresh and with enough time to make a 1.5 hour drive to arrive by 9:00 am. All said they don't open until 10:30, so we were coming up empty. We then called the Stumer Road location and Katie said she'll come in as early as needed to give enough time for our pick up and travel. We did so and are very grateful for Katie's cheerful desire to help. (24) sandwiches each, of BLT, Ham, Italian, Roast Beef and Turkey were incredibly fresh, delicious and were served to an Elder's gathering on Pine Ridge. Thank you again!

Their roast beef is juicy and the flavors are amazing. The sandwich still have a crunch and texture even if the beef is soaked with it’s jus.
