Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

I had an amazing experience at Jeni’s Ice Cream in Deerfield. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and so helpful, and they truly let me take my time without ever making me feel rushed. There were tons of great flavors to choose from, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The shop was also very clean and well-kept, which made the experience even better. You can tell the team really cares about what they do, and it shows. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend stopping by! 🍦

You’re either a fan or not. The spouse comes here for the sheet cake ice cream, I am a cookie dough fan, and the little one is chocolate. I think they make a good product and bring an early adopter to the new development as if 2025 they will be a staple. Try a bite and go for the odd ball flavors.

I don't typically write reviews, but we had such a pleasant experience at this Jeni's location today. The woman working the counter was such a breath of fresh air in an environment when most workers are rude and dismissive at most restaurants. She was super helpful, made good conversation, and was generally pleasant to be around. It was a great experience, and she served as a great example to our kids for when they're ready to get their first jobs. Jeni's is a premium product, at a premium price, but service like this makes it more than worth it. We'll definitely be back!

Great ice cream! Tried the brown butter almond brittle. Portion size smaller than expected for the price. Greater’s gives you more for your money!

I wasn't much of a fan the first time I tried a Jeni's (in Columbus, OH), but giving them a second (and third) chance at this location changed my opinion. They have a good variety of interesting flavors -- not what you see everywhere. I appreciate the gooey butter flavor (as a former St. Louisan); I'll rate that one 7/10. The salted pb chocolate was a solid 8/10. Buttercream birthday cake was probably my favorite of all I've tried. Double dough was my least favorite -- not bad, you just have to really love brown sugar, because the flavor comes through very strongly.
