Having lived in upstate New York for three years, I’ve really missed authentic New York–style chicken over rice. I was honestly surprised (in a good way) to find it here at Navis Hot Spot. I’ve tried searching all over the Cincinnati area for something close, but nothing really hit the mark until this. The flavors brought back serious NY vibes, and it’s easily the closest I’ve found so far. Definitely coming back.

I finally tried this place 6 days go and now I'm already on my 3rd visit. NavisHotSpot is a diamond in the rough. I haven't had every item yet, but anything on the menu that is "over rice" is gold - the flavor is superb, portion is big, and if you choose to get the spicy sauce (chefs kiss). I have no doubts the rest of the menu is packed with just as much flavor. I'll update this again as I continue to eat my way through it. *** I just wanted to add an update to say that the consistency of how delicious the food he prepares astounds me. NavisHotSpot truly is a gem. I thoroughly enjoy introducing people to his food to see their reaction with how good it is.

Didn’t know this truck even existed, but am I happy to know it does now. Was able to meet Navi himself, and he’s a down to earth guy. Recommended his chicken over rice, and am very happy he did. For $11 you have enough food for 2-3 people, and the taste was perfect. Navi just earned multiple reoccurring customers!

Absolutely amazing, stopped for a quick bit while working. Food was delicious, the white sauce was super flavorful and perfect on the gyro. If you can handle heat the red sauce adds a great kick as well! Highly recommend

Got the chicken over rice and it was great. Very flavorful and a lot of food. Can get spicy quickly so make sure to get it on the side.
