Jefferson Seafood Shack

Very unsatisfied I called back today after I left to let them know that the crawfish was not edible. It was so salty it taste like Mississippi Beach water, and it was also very overcooked and mushy and falling apart and jus nasty. I was informed that I couldn’t return or be accommodated for my purchase that I just made not even 10 minutes ago.

TERRIBLE service! Walk in wasn’t greeted at all. I went looking for speckled trout fillets that were wild caught. The owner had them and immediately went to give me the old water down pieces. I immediately told him I didn’t want those and he still was trying to pick them despite I was telling him which pieces I was PAYING for. Went home and they were not the best quality at all. Will stick to my fresh whole fish - no more fillets for me! Will never go to this old run down business again. Their days of ownership is coming to a SWIFT END! Praise Yahweh!

Boiled Crawfish tasted old overcooked for sure meat barely came out was mushy and tasted spoiled. The boiled crabs was cold like out the fridge cold no taste no juice just old seafood. Cold and nasty. Also corn tasted spoiled. I let my family members smell and look at the seafood and they confirmed it was spoiled as well :(

Blast from the past! This place has great seafood and is like a Quantum Leap back in Old Jefferson time. Fresh fish and fresh or boiled shrimp. Fresh shrimp we got were really good!

The freshest fish, very reasonable prices, and friendly staff. This place is a hidden gem for fresh seafood, and I want to spread the word so it stays open forever.
