Dots Diner - near Ochsner

February 2026 ~ An excellent quaint little gem of a restaurant! This was my first trip there & was with a friend that eats there regularly. The food was delicious as you can see from the before & after pictures of our dinner plates. The staff was genuinely friendly & worked well with each other, helping each other. Our waitress, I do not recall her name, maybe 'Lia', was perfect, well spoken, friendly, and helpful. She always came by at the right time. There was ample parking in different parking areas. As you can see from my pictures there is ample table seating that can accommodate large parties, as well as counter seating. There are a lot of entertaining novelties on the walls for you to enjoy. Cute little diner very close to the hospital. Thank goodness! Portions were hearty and tasty! Lots of options! We will probably be stopping by again!

This is the first time we have been here. We were coming from Ochsner Hospital,had been there 4 hours having test done.I told my Man I was Hungry let's go to Dots diner.Everytime I have a Procedure done we want to stop but couldn't because of the procedure that I had.Today was just testing and Like I said I was Hungry.The Waitresses were Very Welcoming Polite,Kind,Respectful and Greeted everyone with a Smile.Didn't get her name she has blonde hair and wears glasses.She took our order read it back to us.She checked on us made sure everything was good.The food came out Fresh,Hot ,Delicious and took about 8to9 minutes.The whole experience was Very Good.We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

I ordered on Uber eats for the first time from this place. They charged me for cheese on my grits and hash browns but put paper over them that pulled it all off, so had to use cold cheese at home. The bacon is not crispy. Ordered my eggs over easy, yolk is supposed to be runny but it's not. The hash brown portion is a joke. The price they charge for this meal was not worth it. Also, I paid for a side of bacon but did not get it.

Dining here when I drive into NO for hospital visits, staff is always friendly and helpful. Ordered the seafood omelet "Atkins style" which was recommended to me by the server after I asked about diabetic friendly menu items. Thanks Dot's for consistently great quality and service!
