Jasper Municipal Swimming Pool

I love all the color at the Jasper pool! This place has come a long way! I love how much more pool they put in the same spot!!! Employees seem quite friendly and knowledgeable of their duties! I haven't used concessions yet so not sure but heard that there is a $10 minimum if card used. The 5 dollar a day per person is probably pretty good compared to other public swimming pools elsewhere. JP loses one star for cons... no re-entry unless you pay again. And no discount for special needs people .. We did enjoy our visit and are planning to visit again today! Go check it out for sure!!!

I used to come here, and loved it. Unfortunately, today 6/23/23, was a totally different experience. First off, we specifically came here because there is a great water slide *on the shallow end*, which was perfect, because my daughter's friend can't swim in the deep end. When planning our pool day, I wanted to be sure there to be something fun for them to do together, knowing her friend couldn't go off the diving boards on the deep end. After driving here, paying our entree fees, and walking into the pool area, we immediately see the **slide was out of order**. This was absolutely a HUGE disappointment. Pros *Pool is small and good for little kids *Lots of kid activities Cons *They want you to buy everything, including water. They don't want you to bring in any food or drinks, including water. *The blue slide is very fast. If you are an adult male (I'm 6ft 220lbs) it may slam you into the concrete floor at the end of it. Bruised both my elbows. Not sure what it will do to other body shapes and sizes. *They have alot of staff but will shut down the kids activities when people aren't there. That's included the weekend. They shut down 2 diving boards, the zip line and the kids ninja park. *Seems like either poor or inexperienced management. *They don't offer passes like they used to, so it's $5 each person, each time. You also CANNOT leave and reenter without paying again. So you can't even

We loved this new beautiful pool. The only change is in 90° to 110° weather, they can't keep people from bringing in water to drink to stay hydrated even though that is one of their rules. At $2 for a bottle, they would have to give it out for free to keep people from being allowed to have it. For health reasons this is NOT okay.

Children really like this pool, doesnt cost too much, has diving boards, FREE slide, and delicious affordable food and drinks
