James' Breakfast and More

James is a mad genius, and I have the utmost respect for the choices he's made at his restaurant. When we walked in, I wasn't sure what to expect. The interior seemed a little disjointed on the surface. But when we rounded the corner and I saw the window to the open kitchen, I knew we were in for a treat. Our server, Eric, was so chill, hilarious, and charming. He mentioned he's been friends with James for 30 years, and that speaks volumes to the type of operation they're running here. The menu and the food were eccentric diner food, but every detail was intentional. All the menu items are just a little whimsical: "omelette-o-rama," "brain scrambler," "roast beast," "veterinarian." Large and Delicious Breakfast options. Very affordable and plenty of parking

Local home dinner kind of feel. Didn’t see James or find out if he really exists, but our friends like this place. We came here a couple times and it’s comfortable if you’re looking for a local rural feel. The food is as expected for brunch. We’ve only come here for brunch. Not a place we’d want to try for dinner. Rural, so mostly local regulars. If you bring your date here, mostly likely she is a local and so are you and you guys have already been here a few times. Try some place new to spice things up.

First time here this morning. Very nice homey place, loved the decor. Every element of my breakfast was very good. Nice scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, perfect French toast & pancakes. The home fries are a must! Very nice flavor & presentation. Great servers & service. Will definitely be back!

This is been one of my favorite breakfast places for many many years. I moved out of the area and recently visited. They have expanded which has given much more seating indoors and now they have an outdoor area. The food is still very fresh and the services just outstanding! A warm and friendly place to go to. Lots of parking and plenty of handicap parking. This is very friendly to a handicap wheelchair or anybody who has special needs. There are ramps and doors and wide spaces.
