Very good customer service. I was shockingly surprised how nice they are , compared to other Caribbean restaurants. The atmosphere was decent. Disappointing the food was exposed not covered (unacceptable). The brown stew was tasteless, unseasoned. The patty was good , coco bread was a lil dry. Overall they are very nice people. In my experience just needs more flavor.

Not the place for fine dining, but that's not why my friend and I went, nor why I think this place should be patronized. I got something I didn't anticipate, which is why JCK gets 5 stars! My friend's Jamaican, and we'd been to another Jamaican food establishment. However, he did not comment about the quality of the food while eating it there. He simply ate it. Last year, he'd mentioned wanting Red Snapper, and I inquired about wanting Oxtail to my Jamaican colleagues. One adamantly shared, "Jamaican Country Kitchen," and the other confirmed. The Oxtail was very tender, tasty and enough to encourage saving half for lunch the next day (Who was I kidding? The second half was eaten hours later.). This restauraunt is close to me and I like the choices. The ox tail dinner is pictured and I have ordered this several times. They have many chicken, beef and stew optione. The goat curry I have also ordered. The cashier is nice and personally fixed my order. Home cooked means are always a good thing and you get that here. I like the plaintains as well. They off medium and lunch sizes as well as desserts. They even have a kids meal size.

Like this is extremely ridiculous…. I tried to check this place out again considering they’re close … I was extremely disappointed in the amount of cheapness they give when it come to food. Like seriously , I’m use to NYC and DC where they fill the plate. This place will give you a plate full of rice , three dried up plantains and a few pieces of oxtail. If I wanted a plate full of rice I would have ordered that, like people are giving you , their money to be satisfied.. this is a rip off and I’m done going there. I’m def going to Junction next time where they cater . I’m over this place , NEVER AGAIN

When i say i felt like i was home and i texted my dad a pic and he said he felt like this was home just from looking at the pic i cannot wait to come back here. I ordered the cocoa bread beef patties carrot juice and plantains and everything snelled as was just as tasty😍🥰 and the ladies were amazing shoutout to you all you made me smile so hard from walking in the door all the way up till i left Thank you
