I ordered the small lunch, curry chicken with rice, peas, and cabbage. I was happy to see that there was a lunch size portion A and I was also surprised with how much food I received. The food was flavorful. I would return for sure!

First red flag: they didn’t have many options as opposed to what’s listed on the website, I wanted the beef stew then asked for snapper. I was told that they didn’t have either. I ended up just getting the oxtail plate. Secondly, the plate is full of rice. Typically, restaurants will only fill one compartment (the large one) with rice. But the large one and side is filled with rice (which could’ve used additional gravy if they were going to do that) However, the beef patty was really good. * took the picture after eating some of the oxtails, but still too much rice.

The jerk chicken is just right. It's actually one of the best in the area. The curry isn't the best (comparing it to authentic curry) but it's tasty. The rice and peas, if fresh, is delicious. I can taste the coconut. :) Although they don't take orders over the phone (rightfully so for the folks who like to place orders and don't show up), it's not a long wait time. It would be ideal to have a smaller portion option (lunch and dinner).

I went in for a jerk chicken with rice and peas meal late afternoon. The young man who served went to the back to get the food and took well over 5 minutes. After paying and opening my bag, I was appalled at how little food I got for $20. When you’re accustomed to establishments that give you decent portions, it makes it all the more disappointing. Won’t return to this spot.

Literally got 4 pieces of oxtail for $24 and one was a huge piece of fat. Very disappointing. When I called to complain I was told the next time I order make a note so they can give me an extra piece. Next time where? Packing of the food is sloppy as well. Too bad I used an iPhone 15 pro to take those pics as it makes them look good. Tastes is not all that either.
