The Lamb on Dry Land (8.5/10) was my favorite dish. The cumin-spiced lamb was perfectly seasoned and cooked with not too much fat on them (so quite easy to chew) and the hand-pulled naan pieces were so flavorful and crispy on the outside. It soaks up all the sauce so very flavorful. There's a subtle spice to it that grows the more you eat it and numbs you. The Jahunger noodles (7.5/10) had a very fun texture. Very bouncy, chewy yet soft and flavorful. The flavor isn't as strong (like no kick like the Lamb on Dry Land) but works well with the thinly-sliced beef and stir-fried veggies. However, there were some parts of the beef that was hard to chew, and I expected the flavor to have more of a kick. The Honey Cake (6.5/10) had a coffee and honey flavor. It pairs well with the ice cream whi

I liked the Jahunger noodle, noodles were great, but I found the meat a bit chewy, it could be easier to tear off. Scallion pancake was great. I also liked the lamb kavap, it was very tasty. The beans were great too, though the peppercorn could be used less, it numbs the tongue more than necessary. The black tea is a great compliment. Ambiance is nice, staff is very helpful. They are kid friendly, though they should learn to make training chopsticks for the kids. Overall, great restaurant.

Firstly, be sure to come early especially if coming in the weekend. The lines tend to get long and they will put you on a waitlist. Your whole party needs to be present when you get seated. Food was good. I thought it was a tad too salty and spicy for my taste. Be aware that the chicken stew has a lot of bones in it. I liked the texture of its hand pulled noodles though. My favorite dish would have to be their honey cake. It was so good that we decided to recreate that cake at home! Definitely not your typical cake. It has just the right amount of sweetness and moisture.

A unique Uyghur restaurant serving traditional-fusion dishes. Out of all the dishes I have tried, if you are looking to eat soup/both based, you can try the Jahunger Noodles. I asked for maximum spice level. The portion size is good enough for 2 people. The shank is very unique. It is a dry dish but the shank combined with the thin cut fries were very interesting to me!

I had a wonderful experience at this Uyghur restaurant! From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and a gracious welcome! The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to providing excellent service through your our meal. I ordered the chicken stew and laghman, and both dishes were AMAZING! The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced! I was honestly surprised to see comments mentioning unprofessional service, as our experience was completely the opposite. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and welcoming from start to finish! Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem in Cambridge. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience authentic Uyghur cuisine.
