Jackson District Library - Summit Branch

This library is a special gem located inside a community that deserves what it has to offer. I’m not from the area but had a few weeks where this library was my place! I sat in the corner and studied for several days. It’s very clean and stays open until 8pm on certain days. Its bright, cozy and comfortable. But what makes this place so special are the ladies that work here. I was always greeted with a hello and a smile. If I needed something they helped me. And from my many hours of sitting there, they literally treated every person with the same respect and kindness. One awesome lady even went above and beyond and helped an older gentleman with a laptop issue. They are just so nice! And I really appreciate that! Thank you ladies! They were incredibly helpful! The selection is limited due the space they have to work with, but the staff is 5-star material!

It is a small library, but everyone working there is very friendly and we felt very welcome! Will definitely visit again!

The librarians are always friendly and helpful. I've gotten some good recommendations from them, and they always help me find what I'm looking for. The building is nice as well, and despite it being a smaller building, there are plenty of books.

Summit branch is amazing. They are so kind and helpful. They almost always have a scavenger hunt for the kids, and my daughters are always excited to do it.
