Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint Kill Devil Hills

November 2025 Edit: If you want a great burger at a reasonable rate or are looking for lively bar scene look no further! I returned to Jack Brown’s during a fall surf trip to give the restaurant another chance. What we found was a lively bar, a positive staff, great service, and wonderful food. The Wagyu burgers are excellent. This visit was a major improvement from our previous interaction - the host as well as our server were polite and professional. Came to the outer Banks and found this on Google maps. I tried the Elvis Burger which includes peanut butter. The burger was very good but I don't think I will get a burger with peanut butter again. The People were great and the place was very clean. Definitely will come back.

Excellent Burger! Some in our party thought it was not quite enough food, teens left hungry. Great beer selection, both draft and cans. Prices were set right, imo. I am excited to return on our next trip.

I stopped here on a whim late for a quick bite. I ordered the cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries. I didn’t have much of an exception, I was just hungry. Surprisingly, the smash burger was excellent. The bread was fresh, lots of gooey American cheese and I added grilled onions to the evenly cooked patty. I would definitely go back again and try some of their other offerings. I’m sure it’s a hit with locals.

First time here. Place is nicely decorated for Halloween. My daughter and I LOVED it! We had Emma who did great! Very sweet and on top of it! I had the Greg Brady burger with Mac n cheese and BBQ chips on it! Best Burger I've had in a very long time! Only here till Sunday, but we plan on stopping in again before we leave. We need one in Hickory, NC! Thank you for the experience!
