Ja-Mar Drive In Restaurant

For one the service is outstanding. The women at the counter was so polite. Felt very welcoming. She knew all the locals by name and I miss places like that. The inside of this place is like a time capsule. I loved it. Anyway we got our food very quick and everything was hot and fresh. We both got the country fried steak. The gravy was awesome. Had a nice peppery taste too it which I like. The steak itself was just a little small but still enough to fill ya up. Wish it came with a few more hash browns too. The egg was cooked perfect to my liking. I’d highly recommend this place for breakfast and would go back again. It just has that down home feel to it which most places are lacking these days. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

Friday January 9th around 12:30-1pm first time coming here. The lady that took my order was friendly and very nice. First thing I noticed about this place was workers opening the doors for the elderly. I give workers 5 star's for helping elderly. Omg the food was excellent 😋 I had a chicken sandwich so I will definitely be back.

Jmars used to be a family favorite. I went there as a kid and it’s always been very good. I haven’t been there in over a year. I went today and got burgers for the family. They were very sad and disappointing. The burgers were almost paper thin and they were very expensive. The fries were very dry and chewy. The ranch tasted like it had a bunch of garlic in it. This place has really gone downhill. The only thing positive I can say about it is the service was still good. The staff was friendly.

Drove all the way from Florida to let the kids experience the deliciousness that is Lamar's. Best chicken we've had in a long time!! 10/10 definitely recommend!!!!!

Couldn’t decide where to go for lunch, and was going to go to a fast food place, but this place looked more interesting. I had the turkey melt special, which was a delicious turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and bacon, an order of fries, and a soda. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It was so big. I couldn’t even finish it! I may go back tomorrow and try their chicken for lunch. Fast friendly service.
