Dariette

Really great ice cream! Been here a few times though and no one is watching the windows or is even here, although Facebook says they are open so would prefer more consistency. But when we are able to get ice cream, it's good everytime.

A bunch of co-workers suggested this place to me. I stopped by during my break and got the black raspberry. It certainly lived up to all of the hype! I chatted with a few other guests while I waited for my ice cream and found that Dariette keeps a rotating menu of seasonal flavors. I'm honestly excited to try all of them before the season is up!

I love this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid before they relocated. Nice to see they still uphold the same great standards. Love their shakes most of all. And the outdoor seating area is so nice! But as it's always been, there is no indoor seating. So be aware that if you want to get out of the heat, it might be best to use their drive up window instead. And unless you're a local, it might be a bit confusing to get to. If you pull in to their parking lot, they most likely will have the entry to the drive-thru blocked off. You need to go around half the block to the ally entrance. There is almost always a line of cars waiting, and this way, it prevents people from trying to cut the line. I get it, but it can be confusing.
