J & J Eaton Place

We’ve been to Eaton Place in Charlotte before, and while it’s usually just “okay,” customer service has never been great. This experience was far worse. I placed a pickup order while they were busy. I ordered corned beef hash and the Belt Buster breakfast for my family. When I arrived, I was greeted by an irritated server whose first words were not “welcome,” but “what are you here for.” Not a great start, but I brushed it off. I waited about a minute for the food, which was totally fine. Once I got home, the food itself tasted okay at the time. However, later that day my wife developed severe stomach pain and couldn’t stay off the toilet. We loved this place! Great food! Fresh, not frozen, hamburger meat! That makes a huge difference friends Homemade House racnch is so yummy! Great service especially for how busy she was! So hard to choose what to get because the variety was so good But do not come here with Food Allergies tho Would of been 5 stars for the environment, but my mom hated the stuffed animals Come here and support them!

The feel of the place is a small ma 'n' pa shop style. The food portions were well worth the prices. I couldn't eat everything. I had a salad, and It was enormous, as well as pretty good! We were seated next to other people rather close, and I could hear every word from the conversation from other people. I would recommend this location for a lunch.

Leaving reviews on here is pointless because management clearly does not respond to them. The food was ok, honestly the price of the food for eating out here was way too high since the quality was not great. Dead animals on the wall, not a family friendly place. We were out of towners trying to draw inspiration for our restaurant back home. This was the wrong place to draw it from

Awesome little diner. Great service and really solid food. Prices were great and it’s got that old school diner feel. I got the country fried steak and it really hit the spot. A true local gem
