This library is really nice—clean, organized, and quiet with lots of space to read or study. I like that they also do all kinds of fun events for kids. Great spot for families and anyone looking to spend some time with books.

I have been inside where it is clean and bright. I can't borrow books because I am out of district.

My children have partaken in many, many free events put on by the library over the years and have loved all of them. They give back so much to the community and are truly a staple here in Charlotte. :)

If I could give zero stars, I would apparently my service dog which is allowed anywhere isn’t allowed in the library so I will never go to the library again because it is illegal to tell me I cannot have my service dog somewhere when it’s my medical service dog

My son and I absolutely LOVE this place. It is the heart of the community. I say that because you can chill out there on a hot day, warm up on a cold day, at times with provided coffee or tea from their Coffee Hour. They have a variety of programs/events that appeal to a wide range of patrons and friendly staff that are quick to welcome and learn your name. They welcome covered drinks into the library as you sit in comfy chairs to read or people-watch. I especially like the loveseat chair in the children's area. I enjoyed many special times of reading with my son in that chair. The children's area is so welcoming to them. There are puppets, toys, and lots of books. I am not so much a fan of the tablets and computers being in there, but I realize that is the way of the world today. This
