It's The Sweet Things

We visited this shop not once, but twice in one day! Our original purchase of a raspberry filled chocolate cupcake with buttercream frosting, the Ube crinkle cookies and the lemon blueberry bar were so delicious we had to go back for more! On our return, we bought more of the ube crinkle cookies (so incredibly moist and delicious) and a piece of the mocha cheesecake. To top it all off, we figured we should try their espresso, which was also fabulous! Jen, one of the owners, lit up the room with her bubbly personality. This place did not disappoint. I ordered half a dozen vegan and gluten free chocolate cupcakes, half a dozen vegan and gluten free vanilla cupcakes plus a regular delicious confetti cake for my daughter's third birthday party. When I made a mistake with my online order I was able to get in contact with Jennifer who was able to accommodate my oops and was super nice about it! When I picked them up today, I was met with a friendly and welcoming staff who even helped carry the order to my car! Jennifer offered to put sprinkles on the cupcakes to match the cake and even though I said no thank you, I thought it was super thoughtful to offer (I had cupcake toppers)! The best wedding desserts near and far! I searched from Blaine to Bellevue and these desserts were by far the greatest all-around! Jennifer makes the most unique flavor combos ...the usuals too, but our cupcake flavors were marvelous. The size are larger than most bakeries' offerings also. She surprised us with the pearls toppers and glitter sugar to our delight. And even tho she had a full day scheduled for deliveries, she was able pack in another delivery to us -drove all the way out to the Skagit County country-side from Bellingham- and artfully set-up our desserts for an evening wedding. Talk about delicious!! Every single thing here is amazing , the ube cookies are a must try!! The bakery was really cute also, and I like their rewards system. They also have a self serve lemon water station which was nice and refreshing. I also appreciate how they have vegan options , I’m not vegan but my friend is , but I tried their vegan options as well and we both enjoyed them ! The customer service was good too. :)

Amazing service and amazing cakes! I have been so happy with my experience here! We’ve gotten: an amazing birthday cake for my daughter over the summer, lots of ube cupcakes (sooooo good) and today even more cupcakes for our gender reveal!
