Isidro's Taco Shop

We stopped here for a quick dinner and couldn’t have been more happy with the service and food. The cost was not too high and food quality was excellent. I would recommend this place for a meal any time of the day. It’s truly a classic Mexican restaurant with great service.

Had the Torta Ahogada and it was OK. Minimal meat. Sauce only came in one heat level. And very few onions. Service was not very friendly. The place was completely empty when I went at lunch time. There are WAY better Torta Ahogadas within driving distance. Wont be back or telling others.

Absolutely incredible restaurant with even more wonderful owners. The man behind the restaurant is Isidro. He began at the bottom of the restaurant food chain and worked his way up to where he is now. His son works alongside him in the kitchen whipping up a mean Super Burrito as big as a house with flavors I’ve never experienced before. The chicken nachos and tacos are pulled meat and taste magnificent. Isidro also smokes his own bacon and puts a dash of love into his food. He told me he’s never afraid to try something new. :) Amazing breakfast burrito as well. If you are visiting the area just look for the giant ROOSTER. :)

It's a family operated taco shop where the father cooks, the wife serves and the son does everything else. Everything is made from scratch. I asked the owner/chef why the cheese is not as salty as most cheese served in Mexican restaurants. He says he uses jack cheese instead of Mexican Cotija. The restaurant is built from an old Taco Bell unit. The owner of the property has neglected the parking lot and something could be done to clean up the general appearance of the property. This is not the fault of the restaurant operators. They are not flexible at all in their food presentation. Don't ask for anything offered in the burrito to be placed on the side. Don't expect the pricing to match the menu board and don't be surprised if they limit the salsa. Pinching pennies is not always good busi
