⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review for Aki Fresh Mex Aki Fresh Mex has absolutely set the bar when it comes to birria. Their birria plate, tacos vampiros, and birria tacos are hands down the best we’ve tried anywhere. The meat is incredibly tender, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned, making every bite unforgettable. The drinks are just as amazing. The lemonade is freshly made and refreshing, and the horchata is the best I’ve ever tasted—so delicious, creamy, and perfectly balanced. From the food to the drinks, everything at Aki Fresh Mex is top-notch. If you’re a birria lover, this place is a must-try. Highly recommended! 🌮🥤 ...and the best customer service!
Our new favorite spot! Everything was amazing! We were so impressed with the in house made chips and green salsa and drinks. That we didn't take a photo of our food. The horchata was creamy and amazing. The mole was so good. Chicken That was falling apart. They gave us handmade tortillas and the Chile rellenos were small but jam packed with flavor. Wow! The rice was great, but they give you a very small amount. Our service was excellent and they had a dessert special. Plantains with condensed milk and chocolate chips and a side of hot atole. They had the door propped open so it was pretty cold inside..that atole helped a lot. Parking is tough here!
We ordered Enmoladas de pollo and Tacos vampiros. Both were exceptionally good. Our server Lupe was very nice and explained the menu really well. I was surprised that I was charged $2 for asking for salsa. The restaurant decor is outdated and needs more lighting.
Went on a Monday night, they were understaffed but my guy was working as hard as he could. Food was authentic and flavorful. The menu had me excited and didn't disappoint. The restaurant itself could use a bit of redesign as it feels incomplete in concept, but that's ok as long as the food kills. Also parking in the area is terrible.
Our hotel staff told us about this place. Man, they talked this place up and they were on point! Just Wow!! A small little place. But the dishes and flavors are huge! Modern, yet very Mexican in every way imaginable. So good. If you are in the area, man you must stop in and be prepared to get full bellies! If you don’t like it. Then I’ll pay for it. But you will like it. Believe me. See my pictures! Also the glass bottle, “bottled in Mexico” Coke is so refreshing.
