Great people doing great things. Thank you for what you do for the people of Laconia that are less fortunate. And you do it with a smile. All in an atmosphere that is welcoming And they put a lot of effort into making sure that th food is good and that no one goes without. Ailol this without a wait.

Couldn't ask for a greater place to come to for food, some refreshments and or a snack.. They are right, it's not quite a soup kitchen nor a restaurant either. It's a place most of us around here in the area (Laconia) that are in an unfortunate predicament(s) in life. It maybe short term or may have been for a long time now.. Know they can come to seek food, shower, and have some laundry washed. Thanks to the warmth of a few people that take time out of their lives to help , volunteer their time and resources to us less fortunate souls like myself and a whole lot more. To be there and lend an ear or a shoulder to help us out in every way they possibly can.. Thank you so very much Dave and Dawn longval and staff at Isaiah 61 Cafe.. I'm deeply hurt for my children who's dad passed away in May 2024 and found out today that they were doing a celebration of life for him but never asked the family if that's was ok! I spend 31 yrs with their father and breaks my heart and that I myself nor his children or his family was invited. His so called girlfriend made it private. He still had a relationship with me and his children. I heard the conversation with Dawn the owner and she wasn't really nice to my daughters over the phone and hung up on them right before the service. God does see the true colors of people. He knows the truth. I'll pray for you all as I'm a true Christian and would never do that to a grieving family.. you didn't have the right to do that without his real family.. shame on you.

I would never recommend this place to anyone as it seems extremely shady. Our father passed May of 2024 and we we’re randomly told on Saturday that they were having a celebration of life for him now in almost February. We were not invited. I attempted to have a conversation with Dawn about this and was told it was “to be kept private” in order to help them grieve the loss of our father. In attendance will be our father’s girlfriend who also never communicated this to the family. While on the phone we were told that we are insensitive and being disrespectful to this celebration of life. Instead, Dawn decided to yell at my sister and I over the phone saying “this has nothing to do with you”. Bottom line - family should’ve been invited. They are using pictures of him from his life and singing
