I was looking forward to trying this place once I discovered it. I looked up the reviews and it is sitting at a 4.3, which gave me confidence. I walked in and placed my order: Quarter white meat chicken, 3 plain fried chicken wings, and roasted veggies. I started with the wings. They were not bad, had a mild satisfying flavor. I also tried dipping it in their signature “Issac sauce.” The sauce was a little too sweet for my taste but did not have a bad flavor. Moving on to their signature roasted chicken. This was the highlight of my disappointment. It was lukewarm at best and no real flavor. The mild flavor I was able to catch was not very tasty. It was a little off putting. Soo happy this place opened up in Burtonsville! Their sandwiches are great. Good size chicken on thick toast, perfectly fried with great flavor. The fries are really good thick cut, crunchy, and seasoned. I’ve also ordered the whole roast chicken. It is quite pricey but I haven’t had a dish here that I didn’t enjoy. My husband and I also really enjoy the house made juices. The grapeade is something serious and very addicting. I hate that I have to see it after leaving the gym though…I’m always tempted.
