Irish Bred Pub

Have eaten at IBP a few times before. It is a great restaurant in an old building with plenty of character. Just a heads up, though, if you’re wanting to eat corned beef and cabbage on St. Patrick’s Day there, you better get there early when they open, or else you will start having wait times exceeding an hour or more. For an appetizer, we had the corned beef cabbage eggrolls, and they were awesome. Came with 1000 island dressing to dip them in. My mom had a shepards pie and she said it was very tasteful, but had more mashed potatoes on top than any of the filling at the bottom. She was slightly disappointed in this. I had the bangers and mash. The sausage was cooked well and the mashed potatoes were fluffy and had plenty of gravy and I even asked for extra gravy. Everything was very f

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Irish Bred Pub in Opelika! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel right at home. They were not only friendly but also attentive throughout our visit, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The food was fantastic, every bite was flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a place where both the atmosphere and the menu deliver such a great experience, but the Irish Bred Pub does exactly that. If you’re in Opelika and looking for delicious food paired with top-notch hospitality, this spot is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

We’ve visited Irish Bred Pub on several occasions and have really enjoyed it. The ambience is typical of an Irish Pub. There is plentiful seating and a large bar area. This past visit we went because my daughter wanted beer battered fish and chips. It didn’t disappoint. The food was delicious and the service here is wonderful. I highly recommend giving it a try if you are in the area. I recommend an earlier dinner if you go on the weekend and don’t like waiting. But, should you find yourself on the waitlist, the bar tenders are very fast and attentive. Grab a drink while you wait, because it is worth the wait.

Had a wonderful experience today at the bar with Carla. Was suggested great drink options which was wonderful. She also recommended the may tag chips, fried green tomato’s and the Rubin egg rolls. Which was all amazing. Can’t wait to come back for dinner. the shrimp and grits looked amazing. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Food was delicious and atmosphere was great. Server was nice. But he did not check on us after he delivered the food had to ask someone else for drinks. I recommend the reuben egg rolls. Had the bbq burger which was good. Wife had the chicken lassie which she enjoyed. It just need an aioli of some sort to cut the dryness a little.
