Irie Jerk Bar and Grill

Ordered delivery. The tacos were good. Meat tender. Everything else was old or overcooked. All the sides were awful. Im a person that doesn't believe in wasting food but all the sides were trashed. I may give them another try since the location is super close. Perhaps dine in.

Food was top tier… worth the wait Owner engaged with us during and after our meal , nice environment made the experience coming back a 2nd time and bringing my daughter and grandkids worth it 🫶🏽

Instead of a long negative review, I’d rather offer some feedback. 1. Your staff should greet customers as they enter the establishment, and let them know to be seated wherever they like (if that’s your rule). And if there are staffing issues that may cause longer than usual wait times, state that to customers immediately. 2. Host should introduce themselves and offer water, right away. And could’ve asked if I wanted a drink…I came specifically for a rum punch. If I was tended to, I would’ve at least ordered my drink. 3. If items are missing from the menu, that should be shared with customers as soon as the menus are provided. (I took my time reading pages of options, just to find out that most of the options were not available.) 4. Tables should be wiped down and cleaned immediately a

I absolutely LOVE this restaurant! I’m so glad that I visited. I came for Taco Tuesday. The food was sooo good, tender, and juicy that I started craving for more and came back again in the same week. On Friday, I had their jerk chicken with cabbage and yams. My sister tried the curry goat and the food was sooo delicious that we ordered oxtail dinners to-go. The staff was friendly and welcoming with great customer service. The atmosphere was vibrant with good energy. The jerk tacos are a MUST TRY and they have the absolute BEST JERK CHICKEN in Chicago! KISS THE COOK!!!
