Calumet Park Public Library

Lots of positive information. The staff was great . Had water to offer . The staff was great at giving out lots of information. Paper work and computer was available to everybody.

The staff is very helpful and patience with people. I feel very relaxed and comfortable when im there.

This library do not OPEN when they say. Even after listening to the voice-mail prompt for the new hours and they are still NOT open. If you are not going to open on some of the most pivotal days of the week, at least open on the days at the time you say you will open. I've been living in the community for 8 years now and have been disappointed every time except 1. ALSO, how are you closed while kids are out on break.

So my kids use to go here after school many years ago. I love this library. They helped them with homework. I got off work at 6 and I needed a a safe place for them to be a few hours. They would call me when they didn't come on time which I Apreciated. They really gave me peace of mind. Thanks Cal Park Library. My oldest is 32 and this was when she was in 7th and 8th grade at Calumet ...

Clearly states on website that PUBLIC LIBRARIES have free wifi....but when I asked for the first I was told that it was $1.50 for 1/2 hour which is ridiculous. Then called a couple of weeks later and was told by "B"..that they didn't have wifi or "well its down and we close the doors at 5:45. The library on 119th Street is far better than this location.
