Irie Jam Souls

This place was so nice, I was greeted when I walked in and the customer service was awesome. The place when clean inside and outside. They have plenty of seating for dining in or the offer take out. The food was very good and this was the first time I had oxtails with beans in it and it added a different taste but it still was good. They had a lot of options on the menu but of course the portions are big so I have to try other things next time. I will definitely go back. Oh I forgot the lemonade was so good.

I placed an order online on 1-22-25 online using the business preferred tab. I picked up my order and went to work. It was a quite large sum of money spent. I thought the receipt would be sent to my email and it was not. I called inquiring if the business could research my order via the # that was still in my web history. They took all of my info informing me the owner/manager would get back to me and still has not. I only requested the receipt to be sent to my email as I require it for business purposes. The food was good. I would not eat here again, as they do not have high moral values.

I’ve been visiting this Jamaican restaurant on and off for a few years, and today I finally tried the Rasta Pasta with chicken. It was so good I felt compelled to write a review. The pasta was incredibly flavorful, and I’m glad I decided to give it a try. It’s made to order rather than served on the hot bar, so there’s a bit of a wait — but it’s absolutely worth it.

I’m a sucker for good customer service :) I’ve been here several times. I told a friend you could eat off the floor because it was so clean inside which is huge to me. I have enjoyed my meals, but the one thing that took me over the top was their coco bread. If you only try one thing please let it be the coco bread :) no regrets I promise. I got a side of Mac & Cheese and the side is huge and priced real good! Oh, my review wouldn’t be authentic if I didn’t mention that I wasn’t a fan of the Rasta pasta…trust me I really wanted to be, but it was new to me, and my taste buds said no thanks. The pasta and sauce combination were off but I have no clue if it’s suppose to be that way (more pasta than sauce…the flavors didn’t hit for me). Definitely coming back to try more items on the menu!!!

Where's the curry! Ordered curry chicken which was good, but surprisingly didn't have a strong taste of curry; it was green, but the curry flavor was weak. The red beans and rice was good, as were the fried plantains. Hopefully they will see my comment and adjust the ingredients. If I had on a blindfold and tasted the food, I would have to guess that it was curry. I've eaten curry chicken all my life, I should know 100% immediately what it is. Definitely will try them again, just give me more of a curry taste.
