Iredell County Public Library

The library itself is nice; however, the staff is just not that friendly. For example, one time my mom and I were sitting upstairs, minding our business. Before it was even time for the library to close, a black woman with short hair who usually sits upstairs came over and started aggressively yelling like King-Kong: “Y’ALL NEED TO START HEADING DOWN!” She was literally yelling. We have never stayed in the library past closing time, so this felt aggressive and odd for no reason.

They let you have a WiFi box for 2 weeks n it's due a day before the start of Christmas holiday closing which is from Tuesday till Saturday and I call to renew it or extend the time and they can't even though they're closed until Saturday which is 5 days hold on to a Wi-Fi box that don't work who does that hold on to the Wi-Fi box till Saturday and bring it back but we can't let you have Wi-Fi while we're closed for 5 days that makes no sense to me at all and why would you tell me to come get it and then your clothes on Sunday and then I go get it on Monday and I'm a day late and you don't extend it like that really has me extremely angry that I could be finishing my school work but I can't because the sorriest library ever is in iredell county so instead of sensefinishing my class work fo

I greatly appreciate this library, and the library system in North Carolina...I can read books and listen to books on CD, from all over the state. The library personal is always helpful and friendly. There is also the opportunity to buy used books and CD's at a very very low cost.

Beautiful and quiet well-organized and an excellent selection of books the staff is completely amazing I love it here

I come here often, mostly to write, and I love the general atmosphere of the space, especially the number and size of the table’s throughout the library. Typical selection of resources for a library this size.
