Inn at Twaalfskill

What a lovely hidden spot for a one night getaway. Perfectly located near the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and in the center of all kinds of beautiful views and hiking opportunities. Nancy, the innkeeper, was attentive and kind, the whole inn was perfectly appointed....we could have been there for many more days and still every need would have been met. And breakfast..so delicious and such a treat to just sit and enjoy. Our room was comfortable, well designed, beautifully decorated, with a bathroom to match. Our appetite is whetted for longer stays to allow for hiking and biking, and we will be recommending this inn!

My wife and I spent two very enjoyable days at the Inn at Twaalfskill. It's an elegant but unpretentious B&B. Our room and bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were delicious but not over the top. The property is set back and very attractive. The owner, Nancy, was very friendly and helpful in suggesting restaurants and things to do. Highland is very close to the Walk Across the Hudson State Park, as well as the FDR Home and Museum, and the Vanderbilt Mansion. All in all, it was a fine place for a short get away. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights. This was our 3rd stay at the Inn. We love it, and Nancy is the most gracious host we've ever met. Her breakfasts are remarkable.|Looking forward to more stays. |P.S. It's just a few yards away from the Hudson Trailway.

What a wonderful weekend getaway B&B that blew me away with its charm, history, and so convenient to all the local wineries and Walkway Over the Hudson bridge. It was everything I pictured a local B&B to be and more. The owner operator was so kind, attentive, and helpful leaving little notes to help out of towners. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

This past trip was the fifth time staying at the Inn and it was great. Nancy sets up the house very nice for the holidays and the accommodations are fantastic.
