Fox Hill B & B

Fox Hill is by far the most charming B&B I have ever stayed at. The property is magnificent, you are truly surrounded by tranquility. Gorgeous landscaping and of course: the huge pool and a hot tub are definitely a welcome relaxation after exploring the area for the day. The house is skillfully decorated to make you feel at home while on vacation. Sheila, the hostess, is so warm and hospitable, as is her sweet companion Flatbush (the sweetest cat). Sheila’s cooking is exquisite and healthy. I can’t recommend Fox Hill B&B enough. I will be back very soon!

My husband William and I stayed at Fox Hill to celebrate our anniversary. We are so glad that we did, Sheila was very accommodating and hospitable. She is thorough with her explanation of the different spaces. It was easy to navigate the house. The rooms are large, spacious and comfy. The space is clean and the bed was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and there are lots of extras. A pool, hot tub and nearby hiking and bike trails. We will definitely return to enjoy it again. Thanks Sheila.

We rented out the 3 rooms at Fox Hill for 2 nights to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday and had an amazing time. We had 8 people stay with us Saturday night and even had a 9th just join us for breakfast on Sunday and Sheila was happy to accommodate us. Sheila provided 2 different delicious breakfast options each morning, one sweet and one savory for each person to pick their preference.|||| There was ample outdoors space for us to walk around or hang out by the pool which Sheila kept open one more week than she had planned just for us. She provided towels for the pool for us to use. We went in the hot tub one night which was another great touch to the place. ||||The inside of the house was very clean and tastefully decorated. What a find! Fox Hill was truly met every need my family had. Wonderfully situated, tranquil property. Sheila is a superb cook and her breakfasts ranging from fruit, eggs, pancakes and more were an excellent start to each day. The pool and sauna were perfection after a day of local sight-seeing. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very comfortable with a terrific air-conditioner for those hot summer nights. Would definitely recommend and most certainly be back.

I stayed with Sheila at Fox Hill over the weekend and had an amazing stay. Sheila is accommodating, friendly, thoughtful, and an excellent cook on top of it all. The hot tub was a treat and we also were able to ride her bikes along the rail trail to the walkway over the Hudson. I would highly recommend staying with her and hope to come again.
