Stopped in tonight for their new restaurants “soft open” and met their new staff (Chef Laura is still the heart) and was pleasantly surprised! Most of the menu items from INDO have transitioned with them and a few new things have been added to make it a southern style feel. We had some of our Asian favorites and met Halley their new bartender. She was so friendly and polite and made one heck of a cocktail. We will definitely be back regularly!
This is a great small Japanese and Thai fusion restaurant that is worth the hike. Chef Laura Smith makes and sells her own sauces. She and her staff were very welcoming and attentive. The sashimi salad portions were huge. The curry crab rangoons are delightful. The satay was perfect, and the dumplings were fresh and also huge. My favorite was her ginger iced tea. It was just the right amount of sweet and it was refreshing. We absolutely loved this restaurant and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
We ordered 4 regular rolls, the sizzling duck, and a seaweed salad. There was so much food and it was so good! It was pretty quiet and not many people were there, which I liked. I think the owner/chef water on us. She was so nice and friendly. Overall it was a great experience and I am excited to come back! (The rolls we got were tuna, spicy tuna, salmon, and Philadelphia. My favorite was the spicy tuna!)
I had a wonderful **1st time** here with fellow classmates and instructors. We had our end of program lunch here. Classmates made a great recommendation in selecting a location to gather. Our server was phenomenal.. she handled our group with much care. The establishment is in a great location. I will be coming back with family & friends! The Godfather roll is chef's kiss😘🤌🏾.. and the Thai tea🥰
The individual dishes were all very excellent, the Yellow Curry with Salmon was our table favorite. Portions were generous and good. We had appetizers and main dishes, prices were reasonable considering the exotic nature of the restaurant. Now for the not so good news. Plan on spending a while at the restaurant, our meal took about 2 hours to get to the table. Everything came out at different times and there was a lag of at least 45 minutes from first item to last. That leaves everyone uncomfortable about eating when all the dishes are not served. The restaurant was not that busy when we went at 4 on a Sunday. Still, I'd go again. Did not see Laura this visit.
