I stopped in yesterday to check this place out.. Greeted when walking in by the owners Janet and Vinny. They were so nice and informative. I looked over the many ice cream flavors (hersey) but opted for the Pineapple Soft-Serve (Dole Whip 😉).. This is something you don't find in the area..

What’s the Scoop is a great local ice cream spot offering Hershey’s brand ice cream and soft serve. The shop is very clean, the prices are reasonable, and the quality is consistently good. Evans and Janet (the owner) are friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It’s a simple, well-run place that focuses on good service and great ice cream. Highly recommended if you’re in the Socastee area and want a sweet treat without the tourist prices. 🍦

Finally stopped in after talking about it since the sign first went up, and we are so beyond glad we did. The owners were unbelievably kind, patient, and enthusiastic about everything that they had to offer, which was everything I could think of and more. The pricing was fair and the ice cream was amazing! The dole was delicious as was the soft serve we tried. We are so excited for a local ice cream shop in our area that we can frequent! We will definitely be back!

While visiting Myrtle Beach, I took a wrong turn and ended up right by What’s the Scoop. I was tired, so I figured a sugar fix was necessary. I didn’t expect coffee! My chocolate iced coffee was almost too pretty to drink! Owners and staff are so nice. The shop is clean, cute and has seating so you can take a breather and enjoy your treat. I’m coming back to Myrtle Beach soon and I’ll definitely be back here! Thank you!
