Poor quality food. Ordered the Golden chicken curry with basmati rice, garlic naan, and a mango lassi. Firstly, as a British person who knows what good Indian food should taste like, it’s rather embarrassing that Inday is associated with Indian cuisine. The “curry” was watery, very salty, and the chicken was poor quality. The rice was also very poor quality basmati rice. Zero flavour. The garlic naan was rubbery. You couldn’t even tear it easily and it had some strange garlic paste on it. The mango lassi was overly sweet and hard to swallow. I couldn’t finish my meal as it was so unpleasant to eat. Very disappointed.
After some long hours perusing the area on a summer day, we finally settled on INDAY for lunch and were pleasantly surprised at how good our Indian-inspired bowls turned out. While they didn't list out a vegan bowl by default, I was able to adjust one of their veg options to simply include more chickpeas and greens over rice to make a suitable lunch option. The combination of seasoned chickpeas with rice and some of their warm sides made for a great meal. Since the store is small with limited seating, it's recommended to take out and head somewhere with AC/heat so you can dine more comfortably.
Absolutely ridiculous, we ordered for takeaway some foods. And the moment we started to have it, it was rotten. The quinoa was completely rotten with onions smells so bad. Absolutely spoiled the lunch. This is from 07/01/2025. Posting few pics, don't go by how it looks as I can't explain how ridiculous it tastes and smells. All who took quinoa, only had 10% toppings and trashed remaining.
The food was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and served warm. Unfortunately, the restaurant itself was freezing cold, so I decided to take my food back to my location instead. That said, the service was AMAZING super kind, welcoming, and attentive. Please don’t base your decision on some of the reviews you may see you really have to try it for yourself. This place is definitely worth it, and I will absolutely be back whenever I’m in the city. Now please bring a location to Queens!
It is shocking to see how far Inday has fallen in recent months. Take the macro bowl, barely enough quantity (<1/3 of the bowl), gone are the avocado, fresh vegetables and refreshing taste. It barely qualifies as a snack, let alone the once satisfying and filling meal - cost even more at $16 bucks! We used to be regulars, and used to provide detailed feedback to help keep up the quality. But we are done. Avoid this place, Naya and plenty of other spots like Botaniste a block or two away are better lunch options for a similar price.
