Superb service, and the food was so good I returned the next night. There is an extensive list of Italian wines by the bottle, and several very good options by the glass. The staff all treated me royally. I was told that the menu changes seasonally. The quality of the food is top-notch. The pecan ragù over agnolotti was divine! Servers expertly helped with wine pairings. The side came with a generous serving of gorgonzola. Pizza crust is prepared and cooked to perfection in a wood oven. The restrooms are spotless. The large staff works very efficiently, humming along at capacity even on Monday and Tuesday night. A must when in Charleston!
Indaco isn’t talked about enough. They do a phenomenal job and consistently source high quality ingredients. Their DOP certified tomatoes, local vegetables, and farm raised chicken really stand out, and you can taste the difference in every dish. The menu is thoughtful, the flavors are bold but balanced, and everything comes out fresh and perfectly cooked. The pizza is exceptional with a great crust, quality toppings, and just the right char. Service is always warm, attentive, and professional, and the atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming. Every visit has been excellent and they never disappoint. In my opinion, Indaco is the best Italian restaurant in Charleston and they serve the best pizza too. I would recommend starting with the Spicy Soppressata pizza. It is the perfect k
One of our favorite Italian spots in Charleston. It's a little less pretentious than Sorelle's or Melfi's, and the food is great. We like to get lots of smaller plates and share, so we tried the Spicy Sopressata pizza, Lamb Ragu, Caesar salad, the Foccasia with burnt orange honey, and the Dark Chocolate Budino which was to die for. Every single dish was delicious, we couldn't pick favorites. The service was also spectacular - our waiter was knowledgable about the menu and took great care of us. There were date nights and family gatherings going on here at the same time, just a great laid back energy. We loved our visit to Indaco and will definitely be back again.
Amazing. Went two nights in a row … we rarely see fantastic bar tender, cocktails, food and atmosphere. This place rocks all three. Bar tender Mattie was amazing at making suggestions for food and drinks. Super friendly without being overbearing. Wine was great for happy hour and I am a wine complainer. Restaurants usually cheap out one wine and serve awful Meimo or Josh… their happy hour red was good! Atmosphere was great. Super hip with fun staff, happy vibe, and not too packed in too tight. Food: Bolognese was best we have ever had. Agnolotti with sweet potatoes is a dish with so much flavor I will be thinking about it for the next year when i got to an Italian restaurant. Potatoes and Brussels were my husbands favorite. But the sweet Potato dish was also something I will wish I coul
I came here with some girlfriends visiting me in Charleston, and I was honestly impressed! Even though I have passed by this restaurant a handful of times, Indaco wasn't really on my radar. We ordered the Tagliatelle, Peach Pizza, Mushroom Pizza, and the Mafaldine for food. Everything came out perfectly. The pizzas were excellent and a shareable size. However, I wish the pasta entrees were larger to make it easier to share. Our server helped explain to us the differences between pasta dishes and what customers' favorites are. We had a dirty martini and the 'La Paloma' to drink. The restaurant was smaller than expected, but I enjoyed the intimate setting. I would come here again or try their pasta class!
