Randomly found this place in Hells Kitchen. My cousin was in town and she just wanted good Italian food! Il Melegrano was a pleasant surprise. It had a great ambiance and the staff were lovely. Food tastes like authentic Italian. I normally don't like Caesar salad but whatever they did differently I loved it. I had the meatballs and my cousin had the Rangu. Everything by was lovely and we weren't rushed.

I love this restaurant. I always order the caesar salad whenever I come here, it is my FAVORITE in the city. You can't go wrong with the Aperol spritz, or with their large wine selection either. The staff are always sweet, and will make sure you are taken care of.

Every dish and drink I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. The service is always fantastic and the atmosphere is very pleasant. My favorite dish has to be the eggplant parmigiana and my favorite drink is the Hugo spritz. I’ve eaten here many times and will continue to do so, never disappoints.

I went to an off Broadway show on 52nd st off of 10th ave and found this restaurant via internet. What a wonderful surprise! I was solo and usually sit at the bar when by myself, but they had no sitting bar so sat at a table. From the moment I walked in, I felt transported to Italy. The atmosphere was cozy, intimate and just so warm. The servers couldn't have been more attentive. They were wonderful. I had the Chicken Milanese along with a couple (or 3) glasses of wine. The Milanese was one of the best, if not the BEST Milanese I have ever had. It is my favorite dish. My experience was so good I had to tell both servers of what a grest dining experience I had. I will definitely be back, either with friends or by myself. Cant believe it took me 11 years to visit this restaurant since I live

We happened by and were not disappointed - at all! The Burratta was so fresh. I had the Veal Ravioli and wanted more. My husband got the striped sea bass and said it was the freshest fish he'd ever had.
