This is my wonderful neighborhood spot. First thing- the folks who work there are so kind and friendly! Hardworking people who do their best to make the experience pleasant. The sushi is absolutely delicious and so fresh. The kitchen apps are really good too and their salads are always very filling. Prices are great and you can actually enjoy some sushi without breaking the bank.
Wow amazing!!! I took myself here for a solo dinner and I had such a great meal. The fish was so fresh and the everyone was so nice. I will definitely come back.
9/10!! Ikyu had amazing staff. My girlfriend accidentally dropped a chopstick, and they immediately came to give a new one. Sometimes, it’s the little things. The sushi rolls were slightly expensive anywhere from $10-20. The plate in front of me is the Salmon Fizz Roll and a Shrimp Tempura Roll behind it. The one on the other plate was a Salmon Skin roll. All of them were served well. The fish was fresh, the ingredients were prepped properly, and overall was a very enjoyable experience. For desert, we tried the cream cheese ice cream with honey and peanuts (I know sounds weird). The server even made shredded to ask if we were allergic to peanuts which some servers don’t do enough honestly. After a while it did grow on me, and it felt like the dish only came together when you had all three
We love sushi and try it pretty much everywhere we go. Our sushi rolls were pretty decent. We tried the sweet potato, oshinko, yellowtail and scallion, the peanut avocado, and the spicy mango shrimp rolls. Everything tasted pretty great and we were happy with the quality of the food. The atmosphere was nice. It was a quiet little spot, tucked away, with an intimate atmosphere. As we were sitting there they added fresh flowers to all the tables. The restaurant and the bathrooms looked clean and we didn't have any wait getting a table. The cons were that, even though it was clean, there was no soap in the bathroom, we didn't have any soy sauce on our table and had to grab it off another table, and the water they served us was pretty warm. It was poured from a glass jar sitting on the table
Great new sushi place in the area. We were able to walk in on Sunday night and eat at the sushi bar (there were tables too). Service was super fast & staff was very nice. Prices are reasonable but some of the portions were small (crispy rice with tuna & the rock shrimp were smaller than we expected). Otherwise, food was good! Will definitely come back here and try more rolls. Front of the restaurant is a little bright for my liking but the back had better lighting & atmosphere.
