Ike's Takeout

This was our first visit here at Ike's Takeout and we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! I got their roasted chicken with queso on a bed of rice and sides and my husband got the beef bbq sandwich. Everything was soooo good! We will definitely be back for some more down home cooking! Yummy cheesecake too! You can tell they take a lot of pride in the dishes they prepare!

Ike’s Take Out!!!! Why have I never been here? I have truly missed out on a MUST STOP! But, thankfully I was watching Facebook reels this morning and seen a funny man showing himself making homemade Chicken Noodle Soup! I haven’t been feeling good lately so I asked my wife if she wanted to go. When you drive up it looks like a little food drive in that would be on Route 66! There is an outdoor seating area with umbrellas. You walk up to the window and order, they have visuals of most of their food to look at, which was pretty cool! They have daily specials! They take a card, but cash is appreciated! The interior of the kitchen looked brand new, very clean. We were thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness! NOW on to the FOOD!! What an experience! I saw this place on my drive to the lake from Kansas City, Mo. looked good so we stopped to try it, Amazing food and amazing people can’t wait to come back next week and try more stuff. Best fried cabbage I’ve ever had from a restaurant.

Super friendly service. The food was so good. We ordered several things to try and liked them all. The stacker was delish. The smoked chicken is outstanding. Potato salad was great. Chicken and dumplings are good. The banana pudding, cheesecake and flour less chocolate cake are all winners.

Great food and true hospitality. The way a roadside eatery probably was when our grandparents were kids.
